IESL-YMS Hackathon 2015 is an event for undergraduates to introduce a solution to an existing problem in the world with their knowledge in software field, organized by the Institute of Engineers in Sri Lanka.

The competition was a six hour competition where each team had to develop a solution for an ongoing critical problem in the country. Over 20 teams took part in this competition and each team had only two members each, to rapidly develop the application. My team emerged champions at this competitive competition, and our product was honoured as the "Product with the Highest Potential in Sri Lanka for the year 2015" by the director board of IESL.

The Product: Find My Bus ( You are never lost)

“Find My Bus” is a GPS application which provides real time locations and the number of seats available in each bus travelling in Sri Lanka. The product uses minimal physical resource requirements but yet being a powerful and useful application in operation.
