You Are Never Lost
The major type of transportation in many countries is the Public Bus System. But is it as efficient as we expect it to be? We all have experienced the inconvenience in the public bus system, due to improper synchronization between buses in the same route, improper ticketing system and lack of bus monitoring systems. We sometimes have to spend hours at bus halts, just to wait for a single bus whereas sometimes the busses are so crowded, that makes us wait more time, for the next bus. “Find My Bus” is the perfect solution which allows you to have a real time monitoring system of the busses and their locations which suggests the optimal details of the public bus system.​ The product is currently being developed with the National Transport commission of Sri Lanka
“Find My Bus” tracks the location of each bus and keeps a real time database. If a passenger wants to check when the next bus on a particular route will arrive to a desired bus halt, “Find My Bus” facilitates it with a comprehensive traffic analysis and the current location of the bus. The traffic analysis is a support service which has been possible with the real time database of locations and speeds of busses that the “Find My Bus” is keeping in hand. This can also be achieved via the mobile application which shows the real time location of the bus so that the passenger can easily arrange his time and journey accordingly.Further more the application will provide the number of seats available which makes it convenient for the users to select which bus to go in depending on the crowd in the buses.
